JOAFPS follows a continuous publication model, in which articles are published online immediately after completion of peer review, acceptance, and production processing. Articles are published in chronological order of acceptance. Each article is assigned to an annual volume and receives a unique electronic article identifier (eLocator). This model accelerates the dissemination of scientific findings and eliminates delays typically associated with waiting for an issue to be completed.
Articles are cited and indexed using unique electronic article identifiers (eLocators) rather than traditional page numbers.
